After graduation, Mr. Alexander had first worked as a correspondent and then begun his legal career in several Shanghai local law firms practicing Chinese commercial laws, in particular in the investment laws.
During his formal legal practice, Mr. Alexander had helped several foreign clients to establish their JV, WFOE and representative offices in China. Mr. Alexander had practised Chinese commercial laws in Shanghai for several years, therefore he is very familiar with governmental procedures for obtaining various permissions or licenses from Chinese authorities in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu Provinces for opening their business in those places. He may assist foreign clients in establishing new business in China and further provide post-registration legal services to international clients.
Mr. Alexander had also accumulated experience in assisting foreign clients in investigating and raiding the counterfeiters and infringers to their intellectual property rights in China, in particular in Shanghai, Wenzhou, Ningbo and Yiwu in Zhejiang Province. He is also good at intellectual property administrative enforcement and court proceedings.
