Mr. Cai was a professor in law with Tongji University Law School which is one of the top 5 best universities in China. He was also one of the earliest Chinese legal practitioners who were licensed as attorney-at-law when China adopted lawyer system. He once worked as a lecturer, associate professor and professor in law in the law schools of several Chinese famous universities, such as Shanghai University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University and Tongji University for more than 20 years teaching various Chinese civil and commercial laws. Apart from law teaching experiences with Chinese universities, Mr. Cai has further worked as a licensed attorney-at-law with several top-tier Chinese law firms for about 18 years. So he has witnessed the establishment and development of Chinese legal systems and accumulated substantive experience in Chinese law theory and legal practice along with the development of various Chinese legal systems, and further represented so many domestic and foreign clients to have successfully handled hundreds of various legal matters, including litigation and none litigation matters in China, especially in Shanghai and its neighboring provinces such as Jiansu and Zhejiang Provinces. Except the rich experience with Chinese university law schools and Chinese law firms, he had once also worked as a governmental officer and further as an in-house legal counsel for a Chinese state-owned enterprise for several years. So our clients can benefit from his familiarity with and skillful combination of his rich law theories and substantive legal practice as well as in-house legal counsel and governmental officer experiences to his legal advice and representation for any kinds of legal matters of our clients.
Before joining our firm, Mr. Cai was once the director and one of the founding partners of a famous Chinese law firm where he was responsible for the overall management and operation of the firm. So he has contributed his rich management experiences to law firms along with his rich law theories and substantive legal practice to our firm for scientific and efficient management and operation, which is also beneficial to our domestic and foreign clients we represent.
