Before joining in China Sunbow & Associates, Mr. Michael had practised Chinese financial and tax laws for years in China working as an auditor in two large Chinese certified public account firms and also as a tax specialist in an investment company.
In those public account firms, Mr. Michael had participated in assets evaluation and restructuring for listings in stock exchange market for several central government based enterprises. He is quite familiar with enterprise account, finance, audit, assets evaluation and the relevant regulations concerning equity shares transfer and tax issues. He has been advising many JV and WFOE on their tax planning and handling other tax issues on behalf of those JV and WFOE before the relevant tax authorities.
Mr. Michael has accumulated enough experience for handling all financial and tax legal issues during the process and post-registration of the establishment of JV or WFOE in China. He is also good at tax planning for the dealing structure of the China related transactions within the permission by the Chinese tax laws. He can help foreign clients to maximize their profits and interests through a good tax planning for their business operations in China, especially during the merger and acquisition.
