After graduation, Mr. Jason had first worked as a judge in an intermediate people’s court in Guangzhou for the practice of Chinese intellectual property laws for three years. After that he further practised Chinese commercial laws in a law firm in Guangzhou and also as a general legal council for a large internet company in their Shanghai headquarter office for years.

Thanks to his former experience in a people’s court fully practising in Chinese intellectual property laws, Mr. Jason has already accumulated rich experience in intellectual property disputes resolution in China, in particular in Guangzhou and other southern places. Due to his formal court background and legal practice in law firm in Guangzhou, Mr. Jason has maintained close governmental relationships with authorities in Guangdong Province. He is good at intellectual property protection in southern China.

Apart from intellectual property practice and experience, Mr. Jason has also accumulated some experience in other Chinese commercial laws practice, in particular in foreign direct investment in China, especially in Guangzhou and Shanghai.

Thanks to his complex legal practice, Mr. Jason may assist foreign clients in protecting their intellectual property rights in China, in particular in anti-counterfeit and anti-infringement investigation and raid actions to the infringers to foreign clients’ trademarks. Mr. Jason can also help foreign investors in opening their business in Guangzhou and Shanghai and obtaining various governmental permissions and licenses in those places.
