Before joining in China Sunbow & Associates, Mr. Legendre had practised Chinese commercial laws in China working as a full-time attorney-at-law in a well-known top tier Chinese domestic law firm in their Beijing office and also as an in-house legal counsel for a large airline company.

During working in the law firm, Mr. Legendre mainly focused on foreign direct investment in China. He had assisted many foreign investors establishing JV or WFOE in China and handled many post establishment legal issues for foreign clients. He is familiar with the relevant Chinese laws and regulations concerning foreign investment in China or acquiring Chinese enterprises by foreign investors.

Mr. Legendre has also accumulated enough experience in project financing. When working as an in-house legal counsel in Shenzhen Airlines Co., Ltd, he had once participated in several large projects financing for a total bank loan arrangement of US $ 450 million for purchasing five Boeing 737-900, three Boeing 747 ERFs and two Airbus A319 aircrafts. He had also assisted the aircrafts purchase between the Airbus S.A.S and China Aviation Supplies Import and Export Corporation, including drafting the legal documents for those purchase and projects financing.
